A compatible board running the current KISS role, connected by a known data capable serial path.
Host service
Software that speaks the documented protocol and performs the gateway, logging or application role you actually need.
Operations
Logging, restart behavior, updates, backups and a way to recover the site without a ladder visit.
Before deployment: bench test reconnect behavior, power loss recovery, storage growth and radio identification. Confirm current serial settings and commands in the official protocol documentation.
