The same node, antenna and settings will be tested at three elevations. The goal is repeatable local evidence, not a dramatic one off range claim.

Change one thing
Antenna feed point height at ground level, moderate elevation and the highest safe permitted location.
Record
GPS position, elevation, obstruction notes, successful packets, RSSI, SNR, time, weather and any unexpected route changes.
