Elevation, a clear view of the surrounding area, reliable power or solar exposure, and permission to mount an antenna securely.
What would be installed?
Typically a low-power LoRa radio, antenna, weather-resistant enclosure and an appropriate power source. Exact hardware should be chosen for the location and local network plan.
What happens next?
Tell us the town, approximate area, property type, possible mounting height, and whether the site has power or good solar exposure. We can then look at the surrounding mesh and discuss what kind of node could make sense. Exact hardware and funding can be handled case-by-case.
